THE WOMEN'S COLLECTIVE

You know when something has changed.

Your sleep. Your mood. Your periods. Your body. Your sex drive. Your concentration. Your metabolism.

The harder part is figuring out why, and separating useful medical information from everything else competing for your attention.

The Women's Collective is a free women's health community from Vitality Centers NW. Each month, we take one important women's health question and help you understand what the evidence actually shows, what options exist, and what questions are worth asking your clinician.

Understand your body. Know your options. Know what to ask for.

Open to all women. You do not need to be a Vitality Centers NW patient to join.

WHY IT EXISTS

Women shouldn't have to connect all the dots themselves.

Women's health information is everywhere. Clear, evidence-based answers are not.

Symptoms are often treated one at a time. Research gets reduced to headlines. Treatment choices are presented without enough context. Social media can make preliminary findings sound definitive, while genuinely useful information gets buried in noise.

And women are frequently left trying to figure out which questions they should have asked in the first place.

The Women's Collective brings together current research, clinical context, and practical guidance so you can understand what is known, what remains uncertain, and what may be worth discussing with your clinician.

We keep coming back to one question:

What should you know before your next medical appointment?

One topic. Once a month. The full picture.

THE NEWSLETTER

Each month, we go beyond the headline.

Each month, we take one important women's health question and go beyond the headline.

What did researchers actually study? What did they find? How strong is the evidence? What are the limitations? What treatment options exist? Where is there genuine disagreement or uncertainty? And what questions are worth bringing to your own clinician?

No wellness noise. No supplement agenda. No pretending the science is more certain than it is.

You do not need a medical background to follow the discussion. You also will not be talked down to.

THE SYMPOSIUMS

Come be part of the conversation.

Our in-person symposiums combine clinician-led education with time for general questions and discussion about the topic.

We spend the first part of each gathering exploring one women's health question and the evidence behind it. Then we open the conversation to discuss the research, treatment concepts, areas of uncertainty, and questions women commonly encounter when navigating their health care.

The symposiums are designed for education and community discussion, not individualized medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

You do not need to receive care at Vitality Centers NW to attend, and you are welcome to invite a friend.

Upcoming topics, dates, and locations will be shared with members of The Women's Collective.

THE SCOPE

Women's health is bigger than menopause.

Perimenopause and menopause are an important part of the conversation, but they are not the whole conversation.

The Women's Collective will explore hormone therapy, vaginal and urinary health, sexual health, mood, anxiety and depression, cognition and ADHD, sleep, cardiovascular health, metabolic health and GLP-1 medications, muscle and strength, bone health, weight and body composition, aging and longevity, and how to navigate medical care when the answer is not simple.

Some subjects have decades of strong evidence behind them. Others are changing quickly. Some questions still do not have satisfying answers.

We think women deserve to know the difference.

CURRENT ISSUE

Perimenopause Is More Than Hot Flashes

This month, we look beyond the symptoms most commonly associated with menopause and examine the broader changes women may experience during the menopause transition, and what the evidence can actually tell us about them.
